Abstract
This research examines the influence of the love of money and religiosity on the Machiavellian orientations of future managers. Data was collected from 163 business undergraduates from a local public university in Malaysia. Results from the hierarchical regression analysis showed that there is a positive relationship between love of money and Machiavellianism. In addition, the relationship between religiosity and Machiavellianism was not substantiated. Similarly through simple regression, there was no attainable evidence to conclude a significant relationship between love of money and religiosity. However, the t-test results showed a significant difference in the love of money between Malays and non-Malays in Malaysia.
