Abstract
Supply Chain Finance (SCF) focuses on the management of cash flows along the Supply Chain (SC). It has the potential of boosting the performance of the SC through the generation of competitive advantage or the optimisation of SCF processes. In order to exploit this potential, SCF requires careful coordination with other SC processes enabled by the role of coordinating actors. The different coordinating roles that actors can play, has yet to be fully considered. Addressing this gap, this paper proposes a conceptual framework that seeks to clarify the different coordinating roles that actors can play in enabling the deployment of SCF based business models (BMs).
