Abstract

We show that in the antiferromagnetic superconductor ErNi2B2C, the increase in flux pinning below T-N coincides with the appearance of twin boundaries between antiferromagnetic domains. The pinning mechanism is provided by a ferromagnetic spin component localized at the twin boundaries parallel to the crystallographic c axis.
