Abstract

Educators are beginning to recognise the importance and benefits of introducing pupils to biodiversity and associated issues. Generic criteria for successfully planning and developing a skills-based resource for biodiversity education are described. Implementation of the criteria are illustrated with reference to an Anglo-Bulgarian biodiversity education project.
