Abstract

The facile one-pot synthesis of the title compound, C25H21N3O2S, is described. The six-membered 1,3-diaza ring is puckered with an axial phenyl group in the 2-position. Intermolecular hydrogen bonding between hydroxyl and ketonic O atoms produces infinite one-dimensional chains in the a direction.
