Abstract

This paper describes work which has been completed on the area of Risk Management within the Manufacturing Industry. It explains why risk management has not been utilised within the majority of manufacturing organisation, before introducing the benefits which can be gained through its use. A Risk Management Methodology which has been developed specifically for use within the manufacturing sector, will then be presented. The benefits which have been gained through its utilisation within the automotive sector are discussed.
