Previous work of the authors and their colleagues described the development of an easily-understood design technique for load-resonant converters. Unfortunately, although the technique has been used successfully in practice, it requires some tedious trial and error calculation schemes. In the Letter it is shown how the original design can be modified using circuit scaling laws. These laws require very simple calculations to implement thereby avoiding the tedious calculation required for each design alteration in the prototype circuit.
