Abstract

The paper describes a decision support system (DSS) for multiple criteria decision analysis (MCDA). It is assumed that the information about the trade-offs is given in the form of lower and upper bounds. The software helps the user to identify candidate solutions from a finite set of decision alternatives and can be used in an interactive decision process. The choice of the software features is based on the author's experience with an environmental case study, which is discussed. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
