The synthesis and structure of the title compound, C18H15NO4, are reported. The dihydroxyphenyl and methylphenyl groups are inclined at angles of 84.98 (4) and 9.18 (10)degrees, respectively, to the planeof the isoxazole ring. Both intra- and intermolecular hydrogen-bonding interactions are identified.
