Abstract
The application of enantiomerically-pure ruthenium(II) catalysts containing N - functionalised TsDPEN ligand to the asymmetric transfer hydrogenation of 15 examples of a-heterocyclic acetophenone derivatives is reported. Products of up to 99% ee were formed.
