Abstract
As part of our commitment to diversity in academic publishing, since 2021 the Review of International Political Economy (RIPE) publishes annual diversity statements providing information about RIPE’s editorial team and contributors (see Bair et al. 2021a, 2021b).
We recognise that the information thus presented provides only a very limited characterisation of diversity in our field, given significant restrictions on the data we can collect. Our publisher Taylor and Francis is currently rolling out an initiative to collect a richer set of diversity data, which we hope will feed into future reports.
