UNSPECIFIED (1997) Study on quantum magnetic excitation of CuGeO3 using pulsed neutron scattering. In: 5th International Conference / 45th Yamada Conference on Physics of Transition Metals (ICPTM 96), SEP 24-27, 1996, OSAKA, JAPAN.

Abstract

We have investigated the spin dynamics of spin-Peierls compound CuGeO3 by pulsed neutron inelastic scattering techniques. The whole spectrum of quantum-spin excitation has been observed. The spectrum shape agrees well with the theoretical results for the one-dimensional(1D) Heisenberg antiferromagnet (HAF), although the interchain couplings of CuGeO3 is sizable.
