Abstract
Doctoral supervisor and student identities are embodied and intricate. They are lived in the thick of human lives, in among other identities we simultaneously hold. Because of the high stakes attached to doctoral education, these identities often include heightened vulnerabilities, excitements, tensions, affects and uncertainties.
