Abstract

This opening chapter features a three-way discussion between three leading authors in the field of Intercultural Education. Their expertise spans three continents and a variety of educational settings. The discussion was based on the authors' initial responses to three questions that were answered in turn. The questions were phrased by the editors within the following context:

Nowadays there are multiple practices of virtual intercultural exchange throughout the world in language teaching communities.
