Abstract

Inelastic neutron experiments have been performed on the spin-peierls compound CuGeO3 in order to clarify the magnetic excitations. By using a pulsed neutron technique, we have first succeeded to obtain the full spectrum in the Brillouin zone and then revealed characteristic features of the spin-peierls state.
