Abstract
We prove that any two locally finite homogeneous trees with valency greater than 3 are bilipschitz equivalent. This implies that the quotient h(1)(G)/h(k)(G), where h(k)(G) is the kth L(2)-Betti number of G, is not a quasi-isometry invariant.
