Abstract
We have prepared an organic magnetic anion, PROXYL-4-CON-HCH2SO3- (1). The electrocrystallisation of BEDT-TTF with PPh(4)1 gave the first purely organic paramagnetic metal, beta ''(BEDT-TTF)(2)(1). The salt shows a broad metal-insulator transition at approximately 210 K.
