Abstract

This is the protocol for a review and there is no abstract. The objectives are as follows: The following questions will be addressed: 1) What is the prevalence of H pylori in PD patients? We will seek epidemiological studies and recruitment figures for clinical trials will be sought to address this question. 2) Does treatment of H pylori infection with antibiotics improve symptoms in PD patients? Is this effect dependent on improvements in the absorption of levodopa? We will seek secondary prevention trials will be sought to address this question.
