Abstract
These key findings from the Futuretrack survey of UK 2006 full-time higher education (HE) applicants focuses on NI students, particularly on a comparison of those who had applied to NI institutions (HEIs) and to other UK HEIs. We discuss reasons given for choices of course and HEI, the information that infuenced these decisions, perceptions of the relationship between HE and future employment plans and options, and attitudes about various HE-related issues, including funding and debt.
