Abstract

Feeding problems and the associated crying of infants are a major cause of anxiety amongst parents. Dealing with this issue is estimated to cost the National Health Service (NHS) approximately £70 million a year in GP costs and the substantial time and effort spent by health visitors in helping parents to tackle these issues.
