Abstract

The British Psychological Society is the learned society for all psychologists in the United Kingdom. As such, it includes among its membership professional and academic psychologists and those who have a first degree but may not be employed in ajob that draws directly upon this experience. The total membership for 1985 was approaching 12 000, including students.
