Abstract
Children with hearing impairments are educated in a variety of educational placements. To support their educational progress and ensure that appropriate provision is in place there are a number of key professional roles including special educational needs coordinators, teachers for children with hearing impairment and educational audiologists. There is also a variety of technology available to facilitate learning for children with hearing impairments.
