Abstract
This paper will provide an overview of the nature of paradigm change being brought about in legal education. In particular it will explore the impact of the interrelationship between information technology and globalization on the changing nature of law and legal practice and the commodification of legal education.
It will explore from both pedagogical and market perspectives, the changing geographies of learning, including the classroom and the resources, to virtual learning environments and virtual institutions. It will conclude with a critical examination of the changing map of learning for staff and students.
