Abstract
The control of flowering by photoperiod has been the subject of intense study for many years. Much is now known about the molecular mechanisms involved in this control, however we believe that not all of the components of this regulatory pathway have been discovered. We have identified novel mutants in this pathway that will further our understanding of how photoperiod exerts its control over flowering. Here we discuss the progress of our work on one of these mutants, regulator of constans (roco).
