Abstract

This report provides an in-depth assessment of apprenticeships in 3 broad frameworks delivered within the National Health Service (NHS):

- clinical support roles (for example, nursing support roles)
- business administration
- engineering

These were conducted through 24 employer case studies. These were principally hospitals and NHS Trusts that delivered 1 or more of the above frameworks.
