Neural networks are ideal tools for prediction and other analysis and have been proven to be a good tool for data analysing and prediction in a number of fields. In this paper, neural network models were built for the prediction of the reliability of complex systems. The networks performed quite well predicting the reliability of the systems however the research highlighted that neural networks need to be trained with rich and meaningful data in order to achieve accurate performance at reliability prediction.
