Abstract

A mechanically tunable microwave band-stop filter, in which tunability is achievcd via a movable dielectric substrate incorporating a conductive ring element is proposed. Experimental results, which are corroborated by numerical analysis, are presented that demonstrate wide tunability within the X-band frequency range. (C) 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
