Abstract
Domain inversion in an (001) section of flux-grown RbTiOAsO4 has been produced by applying an electric field to a sample via liquid electrodes. An x-ray anomalous scattering experiment has been used for characterization of the domain reversal. The variation of the diffraction images of inversion domains revealed via anomalous-scattering topography clearly indicates that near-perfect inversion domains have been formed by electric-field poling.
