Abstract
Enantioselective deacetylation reactions on 5-acetoxymethyl- and 5-acetoxy-3-aryl-2-phenylisoxazolidines using Gandida rugosa lipase (CRL) are described. Varying degrees of enantioselectivity have been observed depending on the nature of the 3-aryl group. These compounds have also been evaluated for their antioxidant and anti mycobacterial activities.
