Description: | This database contains the results of 90 push tests on headed stud shear connectors embedded in lightweight concrete solid slabs. The database was used in the machine learning and structural reliability analyses presented in the following paper: Degtyarev, Vitaliy V., Hicks, Stephen J. and Hajjar, Jerome F. (2022) Design models for predicting shear resistance of studs in solid concrete slabs based on symbolic regression with genetic programming. Steel and Composite Structures The measured compressive strength of the concrete used in the push tests fcm is given in Column G, together with the concrete test specimen type (column H) size (column I) and the curing conditions (column J). The corrected compression strength is given in Column L. Where reported, the nominal properties are given in Column U to AD. For cases when the characteristic compressive strength of the concrete was not reported, flck was evaluated according to the strength classes given in EN 206 using the comparison of means method from ISO 12491 |
