Description: | This database contains the results of 611 push tests on headed stud shear connectors welded within the ribs of profiled steel sheeting transverse to the supporting beam. The database was used in the structural reliability analyses presented in the following paper: Vigneri V, Hicks SJ, Taras A, Odenbreit C. Design models for predicting the resistance of headed studs in profiled sheeting, 2022, Steel and Composite Structures, 42(5), https://doi.org/10.12989/scs.2022.42.5.633 The paper presents the performance of the design method proposed for the second generation of EN 1994-1-1, and compares it with the performance of the existing design models given in the current Eurocode 4 (EN 1994-1-1: 2004) and AISC 360-16, as well with the proposal given by Konrad el al. (2020). |
