Abstract
The heat generation of the precision ball screw feed system affects the preload and axial stiffness, which in turn changes the dynamic characteristics of the feed system. Therefore, a thermodynamic model is needed to study the change of dynamic performance with temperature rise. In this paper, the axial stiffness model of the feed system is established. Based on the heat transfer theory, considering the influence of thermal deformation on the preload and axial stiffness of key components, a thermodynamic coupling model of the feed system is established, and numerical simulation analysis is carried out. It provides a theoretical basis for real-time monitoring and control of the dynamic characteristics of the feed system.
