Abstract
The SIFT method of biblical preaching has been developed by an Anglican Bishop in New Zealand and a Professor of Theology in Wales. The theory underpinning this method is grounded both in contemporary biblical
scholarship and in an informed appreciation of psychological type. The method has been named after the four key functions: Sensing (S),
Intuition (I), Feeling (F) and Thinking (T).
