Abstract
This manual outlines a treatment for young people at risk of developing schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders including affective psychosis.
Such clients are referred to as being at ‘ultra high risk’ (UHR) of psychosis or as experiencing an ‘at-risk mental state’ (ARMS). The approach outlined in this manual has been developed, and is implemented, as the Personal Assessment and Crisis Evaluation (PACE) Clinic at Orygen Youth Health Clinical Program in Melbourne, Australia, historically the first clinic to provide a clinical research service for UHR clients
