Abstract

The session will demonstrate how Scalextric slot-cars, powered by batteries, can inspire student engagement in experiential learning of battery electric vehicle engineering phenomena. Delegates
will design and undertake short experiments to evaluate battery and whole-vehicle performance under a range of scaled real-world use case scenarios. The accompanying presentation will highlight alignment of the activities to industry skills needs.
